5 Tips To Create A Consistent Content Calendar

Here’s how to create a powerful content calendar that brings consistent results

1. Know Your Ideal Client

You might think you know them but do you really? Have you ever mapped out what makes them unique? It's time to get it all down on paper. Map out their age, demographic, hobbies, interests, and most importantly what social channels they are using regularly.

2. Decide Your Core Social Platforms

It's time to speak to your ideal clients where they are and in a way that really relates to them. Consider all social channels and focus on up to 3 platforms that will really work for your business and its services (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube)

3. Decide 3-5 Key Themes

Drill down into what really represents your brand and will allow you to connect with your audience in a meaningful way consistently.

Here are some ideas:

  • Services

  • Team

  • Community

  • Inspiration

  • Lifestyle

  • Industry Insights

  • Client Testimonials

4. Start Collating A Content Library

Pull together the best of your assets and community content that you can reshare. Focus on powerful imagery, inspiring content, and "real life" moments (with a little polishing).

5. Create A Template

map it all out, share it with your team and get going - your goal should be to plan out the entire month, with 3 posts per week and platform-specific copy, links and tone and have that scheduled for auto-posting (Business accounts) or manual posting at the same time each week.
